By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of
America, including the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. App. I), and in
order to extend the life of the President's Private Sector Survey on Cost Control in the Federal
Government, it is hereby ordered that Section 4(b) of Executive Order No. 12369 of June 30,
1982, as amended, is further amended to read:
``The Committee shall terminate on December 31, 1983, unless sooner extended.''.
