Executive Order 12643 --
International Committee of the Red Cross
By
virtue of the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws
of the United States of America, including the International Organizations
Immunities Act (P.L. 79 - 291, as amended by Section 743 of P.L. 100 - 204), I
hereby extend to the International Committee of the Red Cross the privileges,
exemptions, and immunities provided by the International Organizations
Immunities Act.
This
Order is not intended to abridge in any respect privileges, exemptions, or
immunities that the International Committee of the Red Cross may have acquired
or may acquire by international agreements or by statute.
