Political Affairs, NSC (Near East/South
The Office of Political Affairs included offices with the
responsibility for various geographic regions.
Under the old Office of Political Affairs, Douglas Feith
worked in the Near East and South Asia Office.
These regional responsibilities were later revised, renamed and elevated
to directorates.
