Planning
and Evaluation Directorate, NSC
Henry Nau is currently a
professor of Political Science and International Affairs at the Elliott School
of International Affairs at
Prior to his work with the NSC, Professor Nau served in the Department of State as an Under Secretary
for Economic Affairs (1975-1975), as a Special Assistant, Under Secretary for
Economic Affairs (1976-1977), and as an expert in the Foreign Affairs Office
(1977-1981).
Professor Nau served as a
senior staff member with National Security Council from February 1981-July 1983
He worked in the International Economic Affairs Directorate. One of his primary duties at the NSC was
coordinating policy for the G-7 Economic Summits.
