PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FROM LOS ANGELES TO THE REAGAN LIBRARY (Simi Valley, CA)

Trains from Los Angeles

 

Both Metrolink commuter trains and Amtrak passenger trains service Simi Valley from Los Angeles’ Union Station.  Metrolink’s Ventura County Line runs Monday through Friday.  Amtrak trains and thruway buses run seven days a week.

 

The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Metro Red and Gold subway and elevated rail lines service Union Station.  Travelers can use the Metro from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to get to Union Station by taking a free shuttle bus from LAX to the Metro’s Aviation/LAX station on the Green line.  Travelers must then transfer from the Green line to the Blue line at the Imperial/Wilmington station and take the Blue line to Los Angeles to transfer to the Red line at the 7th Street/Metro Center.

Please note too, the Metrolink and Amtrak lines can also be boarded at the Burbank Airport station which is within walking distance of the main terminal at Bob Hope Airport (Burbank).  A free shuttle is also available.

 

 

Bus from Simi Valley Train Station to The Reagan Library

 

Public bus service is available at the train platform in Simi Valley.  Transfer of bus is required at the Simi Valley Civic Center from the Route C bus to the Route D bus in order to reach the library.
